The District Attorney is the chief law enforcement officer for the county.
Mission
The District Attorney's Office is responsible for prosecuting criminal activity occurring within Snyder County. The District Attorney supervises investigations by law enforcement, provides guidance and advice to police, insures victims and witnesses are informed of their rights, organizes and implements educational programs throughout the county and is the final authority on what charges will be brought against any individual.
